Aerial Photography - Modern
This is an aerial for the 23cm (1.3GHz) amateur radio band. It seems to be made from TV aerial components. I’m told that the aerial doesn’t have a balun, and I wonder how efficiently it transfers the collected energy to the cable, and whether the last dozen or so directors actually improve the gain. Can anyone comment?
